Minimum Size: none

Maximum: One per person per day (new 7/08)

Goliath Grouper (Jew Fish)

 This is a protected fish

 and must be released

  immediately if caught

Record: 6 80 lbs. 9 ozs. Fernandina Beach  1961

Grouper (Black)

Minimum: 24 inches in Atlantic and Monroe County.

22 inches in the Gulf  (excluding Monroe County).

Maximum: Two per person per day.

Largest and darkest of the Groupers; also the best game fish.
